Wednesday Musings ~

the little sampler that you see below was one of my very first...
it's called
~ March Hares ~

I like how simple & quick it was to stitch,
and how sweet it looks simply pinned to my wall
below a shelf that holds a collection on early children's shoes...



this little basket full of raw flax and strawberry emeries
is one of my favorite things...

you can tell by the size of the one hatpin just how small
this little treasure is...
I like to display my old sewing needfuls throughout the house
... interspersed with other collections.

i can't help but wonder about the children that wore these shoes.
~ a simple, yet poingant vignette ~

tomorrow,
I shall be cleaning the shop
in preparation of our reopening from the Holidays...

we will resume our regular business hours of
fridays & saturdays, 10~3
I'll also be listing the shop's class schedule
on the sidebar tomorrow...

I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and sharing with new ones!

Love the old shoes. I have some, too. I'm always thrilled to find a pair I like but those single ones are wonderful as well. I always wonder where the other one is.
