Sunday ramblings...

Happy Sunday friends....
it is a cold one today here at the farm...
the little birds are all fluffered up,
setting on their perches at the feeders.
the donkey's are wearing thick,
wooly coats and the sheep look like polar bears wearing russian hats...
I love this weather,
especially now that I have these...um...
" power surges "
I find myself more & more
escaping the heat of the woodstove
...to enjoy the brisk snap of cold air.
I'm almost finished with the new designs for punch needle...
here's a peek at one~
the other is a little house needle book...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've been out rearranging & cleaning up the shop,
in preparation of the upcoming monthly classes...
it is SO bright & sunny in there,
...and there are now four tables for students to stitch at!!
I have to sew up some new curtain valances for the windows,
I definitely don't want to block out all of the wonderful, natural light
but I hate
'nekked' windows...just me I guess...
I've ordered new scissors from kelmscott designs, needle-minders,
and have more punch needle accessories coming this week,
...also a new shipment of Stacy Nash's patterns will be here soon~
on your next visit to Notforgotten Farm,
expect to see more supplies for all types of needlework ~
felting, applique, knitting & crochet, quilting, etc...
beautiful, hand dyed linens for your stitching pleasure and a full line of DMC threads.
scissor fobs, pincushions, kits and fabrics...
~and~
I'm proud to carry beautiful, colorful hand crocheted scarves
... made by our daughter Hannah...
look for them soon!
well friends, I'm off to finish the punches, and then fly to the grocery store...
hoping you all have a wonderful day filled with your favorite creative things!
Blessings from the farm,
~ Lori ~
