I could not go through life without my "jewel" of a friend. She's there to listen to me whine, cry or laugh and always, always there for me.

I am so lucky to have 3 daughers and a sister that are my best friends -- they bring me such joy! I also have a friend from childhood that I just love to be with -- how fortunate I am that we still spend time together! Friends, sisters, daughters.... they fill my life with happiness!

I would love to win your new little creation.

The more friends, the merrier. The best friends are the ones that you don't see and don't speak to for quite some time, but when you do, it's like you speak to them every day. I have so many treasured friends from long ago and many that I have met just recently. We women have such a knack for opening up and letting people in .... that's one of our special traits. I treasure each and every friend old, new and those yet to be met.

Sally and I were friends for 20 years, in and out of touch through the years. My daughter's baby girl was overdue and I was at my daughter's house waiting for the special child. I called Sally 3 times that week, once on Tuesday, twice on Wednesday. On Friday night, Sally's dear husband called me after hearing my messages. Sally died "a little after 3 on Thursday afternoon" he said. Another long week passed, at 10 days overdue they induced my daughter on Wed morning, but her sweet baby daughter didn't arrive until the next afternoon at 3:08, exactly one week after Sally died, the same "a little after 3 on Thursday afternoon".

My friends mean the world to me. We love to get together to laugh and catch up. Some of them stitch and some of them don't, but we always have a fun time. Now that my daughter loves to sew, we have become even closer as we stitch quilts together. I feel so blessed to have a "friend" like her.

“A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.” ..Several good friends (including by best friend, my husband) have helped me through a really hard time the last few years and I have found my song. I am so excited that I will be coming to take the punchneedle class in March. Love this beautiful creation and enjoy your blog. Jonette

Friends are priceless. They are there through thick and thin, they listen to you, cry with you and laugh with you. Friends have lots of faces.

My dearest friends live very far away from me. I only get to see them a few times a year, and sometimes not even that often. But what's so special about them is, whenever we do get together, it's like we've never been apart. It's like coming home again.

Hi Lori,
Friends are who make the hard times better and the good times even better. The friends I have made through the years have helped shape who I am. Each one teaching me a little something about myself. Encouraging words, kindness, sympathy, love, compassion. I could go on and on.... Thank you for offering such a beautiful gift of friendship.

Hello - What a beautiful sewing pouch. And friends - they can save your life when you don't even know it needs saving. A true friend accepts you for who you are and isn't judgmental about it - and is a treasure to have in one's life. I hope that your life is filled with treasures. Kate (kcarr@schwabe.com)

Terrific blog topic! I personally think I have two of the best friends anyone could possibly have! Phyllis and Lisa. We go on frequent road trips junkin. By the time I get home I am sore from laughing! I think we are going to have to start wearing "Depends" when we go on these trips. We sure feel good when we get home. I guess laughter is the best medicine. These two would also do anything for you. Two people I can certainly laugh with, cry with and share the ups and downs in life with.
Yep, Phyllis and Lisa are true friends!

Hello, what a wonderful blog. You are so talented! I am a new follower and so glad that I found you. Sadly, I lost my best friend last December. How I miss having that person in my life who was there no matter what was going on, supporting me, cheering me on or cheering me up. Cherish them today. Finding a new best friend is just not that easy.
We need to appreciate every day we have together....so enjoy your best friends gals.
