40 count hand dyed linen, by far, though I've never tried stitching directly onto osnaburg or muslin. I should give it a try.

I'm not a stitcher right now ~ just want to say that I love your new header and love the peaceful quality of your winter decorating! Have a great day!

My favorite is 48 count. I do like osnaburg and prairie cloth.

35 ct WDW linen! I love their colors. Or some piece of tea-dyed linen.

I love stitching on osnaburg, 28 or 32 count linen and prairie cloth. Does anyone have a good source for buying prairie cloth? Love how you are changing up your blog all the time, its fun just to pop over and see what you got up today..

If you would have asked me this about a year ago I would have told you anything 40 count without hesitation but they started making it even SMALLER now that I'm a little older!! Can you believe the nerve?!?

Lori,
I love the new look for you blog! My eyes would have to say 30 count, although I do most of my stitching on osnaburg or muslin.
Hugs,
