she headed for the clothing,
I headed for the household-stuff.....

sitting among the tired,
ca. 1970's 'colonial' furniture,
was this baby.....

and it was MINE
for the mere pettance of
$3.99
oh, how I love junking...
this will hang in our upstairs hallway,
after Peter re-wires it...
and I can't wait to see it cast it's mellow glow...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
a BIG CONGRATS to our daughter Hannah
for being chosen as
Section Leader (Flutes)
in her high school's marching band...
she is thrilled. and we are SO PROUD!!
What a great find!
I am on the hunt for those old wooden Scrabble pieces. They just don't make 'em like they used to!
As a proud parent of a former Lt. in the marching band, Jacob was leader of Mellophones, I know where you are coming from! Wahoo to your daughter! I so enjoyed reading about the baby possumms! You should be proud of all that you did for them :)
What a fantastic find!! I would have been so happy to find something like that!
Congrats to your daughter - as a former section leader of the flutes/piccolos when I was in school (many moons ago) I know how much work and fun she will have!
