Happy Saturday!!!!

I woke up this morning to the sounds of my sweet farm...
donkeys braying, sheep baa-ing, roosters crowing....

...Oppossums begging for food!!
here are Petunia, Flo & Herman...
I swear they've doubled their size since last week!!
(thank you, sweet husband, for taking care of my 'babies' while I was away)
xoxoxoxox
and after I fed everyone,
I came in here to my seewing room to find this:

"Samson", our resident WOol-CaT,
sleeping in my old potato basket that I use for snippets...
(Sam has freckles...you can see some of them on his nose & lips)
~AND~
while I was in CT,
I stitched up this little Peacock Sampler,
"My Needle's Work"

it is available as a pattern ~
$8.00 + ship
you can order directly from me,
... just email me at not4got@aol.com
I love the colors in this one,..so simple & old looking!
I will be listing this on ebay & etsy, too...
I have a ton of patterns waiting to be charted, as I told you last week, some of my older finished designs will now become charts...some hallowe'en designs, some everyday designs...
Look for them SOON!!!
and lastly,
I have thee most gorgeous pictures of ancient gravestones that I took in CT ~
I will post them tomorrow...
Well Folks,
I'm off to cut my grass...yes, it's been over a week now.
I'm doing much better
(see previous post on lawncare LOL)
Have a safe & *SPARKLING* July 4th Holiday!!

Blessings from the Farm,
Lori

I have to tell you I love the names you have chosen for your animals, they go so well with them !! :-) The opossums are so very cute !! Aren't opossums mean or is this just an idea somebody got in my mind? I am not familiar with them and they sure look harmless in your hands :-)
Love the little Peacock Sampler and look forward to your new patterns.

What a great pic of the 'possum gang!!They are such benign creatures - part of Nature's clean-up crew.
Your peacock design is lovely. Can you adapt it for hooking??:-)

Those little possum are startin' to look like See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil! LOL! Cute little mischief makers! :-) I really like the cross stitch piece! I'm thinking that would look perfect stitched to a blue ticking pillow... I'll be ordering the pattern soon!
