One More Day till the Drawing and other news!

Hi Folks!

sorry I haven't posted since last week,
... I've been getting things back in order a bit here...
I can't believe how many kind folks such as yourself
left me a comment on my pinkeep giveaway post!...
Thanks so much !!!

I'll draw the winner's name tomorrow evening
and post it here, so stay tuned!!

in other news....
we've begun yet another project here at the farm...
(yepper...it's always somethin'!)

A New ChickenCoop!

(Pete and his Buddy)

we're putting it alongside the sheep's barn...
complete with a hen house, nursery for the ditties (chicks)
and a totally enclosed outdoor run!

we've had a whole slew of ditties born this past month!
a dozen little banties...
Awwww...how cute!
popcorn chicken!
(just kidding folks, don't write in...
all of our beloved feathered friends are named, and well-cared for
and we only raise them for eggs,.... not soup.)

anyhoo, Pete's been out there sweating and building and planning & swearing (oops!)
and I know it will be beautiful when he's finished...
like everything he creates....

I am one lucky Farmgirl!

Blessed be, Friends,
and watch for tomorrow's post
around 6:00 pm eastern time.

Oh lucky you! I still have 5 banties running around out here...and 4 babies. My uncle is going to take them....I hope to have chickens again some day but it won't be until I get a proper coop and pen for them. I like having nice flower beds and clean walks but I do miss all my chickens!

Those babies are just adorable & there is nothing better than farm fresh eggs.
