yuck yuck yuck.

we woke up monday morning to almost 10 inches of snow.

that's more snow than the state of virginia has seen in a culmination of 6 years..

Today it is cold, sunny, but frigid. there are 12' icicles hanging from the roof of the barn and
I'm trying to keep the animals from walking underneath them for fear that they'll be impailed!

Hannah's school has been cancelled for 2 days and we don't know if she'll have school tomorrow, because everything that melts during the day, ices back up in the morning and the buses can't run....

SOOOooooo, I've been needlepunching, stitching and designing new things for the upcoming shows I'll be doing...also a few finished things for ebay...

a few of you have asked me about books on Needleweaving, or if I'll be teaching a class on this....
I'll be posting a poll on my sidebar with a few questions of my own about needleweaving, for you!

well, I'm headed out to the woodpile...I have 3 woodstoves going full-blast here in the house & shop...then I'll make a pan of lasagna for dinner...don't forget Idol is on tonight!!!

I'll post pics of my 2 finished needle punch pieces soon!!

~hoping that you're all warm & cosy, we're waiting for Sunday, when the temps should be back in the 70's!!! ~

Wow, you guys got dumped on with snow! It's freezing here in Mi. but no snow. I've had my woodstove cranked all day & I'm weaving & sewing. Can't wait to see what you've been up to.

It's cold here in Ohio today, but the warmer temps are coming tomorrow. By Friday, near 60. HOPE! Spring is on the way!

That's a lot of snow, Lori. We had a dusting and 2 hours later...NADA!

I voted on the pole. I love hands-on teaching. However, I can't come learn from you. :(

Oh no...Your pansies are in shock again. Sorry about your snow. I thought we were gonna get it too but just a dusting here in central OH.
I'm working on a bunny pincushion and it'll be listed tonight.
Yes...I wanna know about needle weaving, looks like fun.

You have to admit our snow has been beautiful! I've been stitchin, too.
I'd love a class on needle weaving, but I have to see it done. My brain can't process it from a book.
