Sunflowers...

I needle punched up this Sunflower pillow
using a dimensional technique for the petals
and shading for the leaves...
it measures 6" x 6" ~ is filled with wool scraps
and can be seen on my ebay auctions!

I love the shine of the thread you used. Very pretty!

I love cutting loops to make for a soft cottony look. It just makes me wanna touch it. :o)

I love it! I'm workin' w/a Buttermilk Basin pattern right now & it has some dimension. I tell ya...the longer I work with punch needle, the more I learn about it!
I'm anxious to try something on wool!

Lori that is fantastic! what kind of material did you use for the background? I cannot get weavers cloth here in the UK, so am using cotton that I stabalise with bondaweb.
