I know...i know....

ok...i KNOW that I change my blog like I change my gotchies....
it's something I love to do,
and it always keeps you gals guessing, now,
doesn't it?
I'm trying to find just the right Farmhouse-y "look" for my blog...
not too stuffy or frilly,
not too plain and frumpy...
I'm working on a new business logo for the new patterns
(freshening things up a bit for 2009),
so I think I'll sketch something up ~
Do you girls have any suggestions for what I should use as motifs?
...since this is a real working farm, AND
a Needlework design business,
I wanted to incorporate the two better...
here are a couple that I've been thinkin' about:
floral (like vintage roses)
sage green, butter yellow, faded rose, robin's egg blue, brown & cream colors
herbs
eggs/birds
ribbons
wheelbarrow
picket fence
clothesline
.......
I like this one....what say you??

I think combining your farmhouse and design company is a good idea. Wonder if there's a way you could get a black and white photo of your house (aged looking photo) with a clothes line, a primitive gal hanging quilts with a basket on the ground of civil war-type linens/fabrics, tree nearby with robins scattered here and there...you follow me? Just my 2 cents. :o)

Good luck to you, Lori! I admire your talents and creative sense.
