Being Thankful ~

Here are some things that I'm Thankful for this year:

Dirty Dishes
(that means we have enough to eat)

the Alarm Clock
( time to begin a new day)

Drafty Windows
(that allow me to see my surroundings)

Arguments with those I love dearly
(that means someone loves me, too)

Holes in my Socks
(for the ability to walk)

Glasses
(that enable me to see)
Broken promises
(helps to strengthen relationships)

Stress
(if it weren't for that, I'd have no energy!)
Not your typical list of things, granted, but I try to look at life with a little different perspective than most I guess...

I want to know how it feels to want, to need, to hurt, to heal...
it strengthens character & makes us truly and humbly,.....
Human.

We surely don't have alot of money, but we do have one another.
That is a gift to be Thankful for, everday.
~Wishing you ALL a most Happy, Peaceful & Humble Thanksgiving Holiday~
Blessed be, my Friends...
Lori

I just saw your new gorgeous PFAFF treadle machine! OMG what a find! The same thing happened to me with my Featherweight. Nearly tripped over three of them in an antique shop. Congrats

Thanks Lori...I know what you mean...if we didn't have all those things mentioned, where would we be?
Today is cleaning day...preparing for our gathering here on Thursday!
Many blessings to you and yours this Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving and I do think your list is wonderful, it gives a person a different perspective on daily living.

I am usually a lurker here on your blog.
